CM Shri Vishnudev Sai Welcomes Passage of Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026 in Lok Sabha

Raipur, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai welcomed the passage of the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026 in the Lok Sabha, describing it as a historic and forward-looking step towards securing the future of crores of youth, fostering honest talent, and ensuring a transparent examination system in the country. He stated that under the leadership of the honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the central government is continuously taking concrete and effective decisions to protect the dreams, hard work, and future of the youth. This amendment is a testament to that firm resolve.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that competitive examinations are the basis of years of hard work, hopes, and aspirations for crores of youth. Activities like question paper leaks, cheating mafias, and organized examination crimes not only do injustice to deserving candidates but also affect the credibility of the entire examination system. This amendment, brought with the objective of ensuring strict and effective action against such offenses, will further strengthen the examination system.
The Chief Minister said that through the amendment bill, the punitive provisions against examination-related offenses have been made even more stringent. This will further strengthen the path for effective legal action against examination mafias, organized criminal gangs, and elements involved in any form of irregularity. Additionally, the accountability of agencies and service providers conducting examinations will also be further ensured, making the entire process more transparent, accountable, and reliable.
Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the central government has always given top priority to the interests of the youth. This amendment, along with the new education policy, skill development, employment generation, and digital transparency, is an important link in empowering the future of the youth by making the examination system more secure. This will further strengthen the confidence of talented and hardworking youth and give new strength to a fair and transparent selection process.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that the creation of a developed India is possible only when the youth receive fair opportunities commensurate with their ability and hard work. This amendment is a significant step towards realizing that vision, which will work to protect honest talent and strike hard against examination-related irregularities.
