CM Shri Vishnudev Sai calls the service model of Satya Sai Gram an inspiring example of public welfare
Raipur Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai today visited Satya Sai Gram, Muddenahalli in Karnataka and observed the holistic service model based on education, health, nutrition, and human values. He met with Sadguru Shri Madhusudan Sai, founder of the One World One Family Mission, and discussed in detail the possibilities of cooperation in expanding public welfare services in Chhattisgarh, especially in the areas of free health services, maternal and child health, nutrition, and value-based education.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the basis of a developed Chhattisgarh is not just economic progress, but a healthy, educated, and cultured society. The state government is continuously working to deliver quality services to the last person by keeping education, health, and nutrition among the highest priorities of good governance. He said that the efforts of public welfare can be made more effective through the experience, innovation, and spirit of service of social service organizations. The Chief Minister especially appreciated the work of Shri Satya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital, Raipur, in giving new life to thousands of children through completely free pediatric cardiac surgery. Describing it as an excellent example of humanity and service, he discussed the expansion of the hospital, the establishment of a Mother and Child Hospital, and the possibilities of extensive expansion of health services in the future.
Chief Minister Shri Sai attended the concluding session of the international conference on value-based education as the chief guest. More than 100 teachers and educationists from about 25 countries participated in the conference. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that modern education should not only be a medium for acquiring knowledge but also the basis for character building, service, compassion, ethics, and social responsibility. Value-based education builds sensitive citizens and a strong nation.
The Chief Minister also visited the SaiSure Neutraceuticals unit operated by Shri Satya Sai Annapurna Trust. Through SaiSure Multi-Nutrient Health Mix, nutritional support is being provided to approximately one crore children in 25 states and 4 union territories of the country. Appreciating this initiative, the Chief Minister discussed possibilities of further improving the nutritional status of children through such innovations in schools and Anganwadi centers in Chhattisgarh. Approximately 300 youths from Chhattisgarh have been provided nursing education and training here. The Chief Minister said that this initiative is significantly contributing towards increasing employment opportunities for the youth as well as preparing skilled health human resources inspired by the spirit of service.
Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed confidence that cooperation between the Chhattisgarh government and the One World One Family Mission will develop new possibilities in the fields of health, education, and nutrition, and the scope of quality services to the poor, deprived, and needy sections of society will become even wider. He said that the government welcomes all such efforts that work to bring positive change in people's lives through service, sensitivity, and good governance.
