Chief Secretary Reviews Centrally Sponsored Schemes
Raipur, Chief Secretary Mr. Vikassheel today reviewed the Centrally Sponsored Schemes being implemented under various departments at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhavan. The Chief Secretary directed departmental officials to complete all necessary tasks to ensure timely payments to beneficiaries and various vendors of Centrally Sponsored Schemes. All necessary sanctions under the schemes should be obtained within the stipulated time period, for which there should be a systematic system. Officials should monitor the implementation of the schemes.
The meeting reviewed the SNA (Single Nodal Agency) Sparsh onboarding status for Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) under various departments. SNA is a digital system being implemented by the Central Government in various states, through which funds are transferred under many central schemes including MNREGA. This system is designed to prevent misuse of funds and increase transparency. Similarly, the parental sanctions and pending operations of the schemes were reviewed. The Chief Secretary has asked departmental officials to complete the prescribed actions for onboarding the schemes and to formulate an action plan for all departments to expedite the payment process under the schemes.
