Settle cases before retirement

Review of progress of important schemes and departmental works, necessary instructions given to officers

Raipur, Chief Secretary Mr. Vikassheel today held a meeting of the in-charge secretaries of all departments of the state government at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhavan. The meeting reviewed the implementation and progress of important works and schemes of the departments.

The Chief Secretary said that the resolution of various cases of retiring officers-employees should be prepared before their retirement. He said that a list of retiring officers-employees should be made department-wise at periodic intervals. Prepare a setup for the list of vacant posts and backlog posts in the departments and complete the recruitment process. The Chief Secretary has instructed the departmental secretaries to continuously monitor the implementation and progress of their department's schemes. Information was sought from the officers in the meeting about the progress of Public Service Guarantee, Right to Information, Seva Setu, Public Service Guarantee, PM Gati Shakti Portal, e-Pragati, Deregulation, schemes of Rural Development Department and other important schemes. It was informed in the meeting that 728 services have been notified under the Public Service Guarantee Act.

The Chief Secretary instructed the departmental officers to monitor the training programs identified department-wise under i-GOT. Officers-employees have been asked to get training as per the department's requirement under i-GOT. Prepare an action plan for training as per the need of officers-employees. The Chief Secretary asked the officers to prepare department-wise information under reforms. A reforms festival campaign will be organized in the coming days.
