Chief Secretary gave instructions to departmental secretaries to prepare and implement a time-bound work plan Review of policies ranging from rice procurement to water management and administrative reforms Raipur – A meeting of senior secretaries of all state departments was held today at the Ministry Mahanaadi Building under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Mr. Vikasheel. In the meeting, the progress of important schemes and departmental work was reviewed with the additional chief secretaries, principal secretaries and secretaries of various state departments. The Chief Secretary directed officials to complete the assigned tasks within the stipulated time Instructions were given to make all necessary arrangements for the rice kharif marketing year. The Public Health Engineering Department was asked to prepare drinking water schemes and the Water Resources Department to formulate better work plans for water management and treatment in urban and industrial areas. The Urban Development Department was directed to prepare the City Water Plan in line with the Vision of Developed India‑2047. For the organization of Gram Sabhas, it was asked to complete the required preparations within the period of 15 to 22 October. The Transport Department was instructed to give special emphasis on promoting e‑vehicles in the near future and the Food Department to prepare a city gas distribution policy Emphasis on district monitoring The Chief Secretary asked that the score‑card be finalised for effective monitoring of plans and departmental work in districts so that regular monitoring of progress can be done at the collector level. He also directed making the court monitoring system effective and to coordinate with the IT Department for necessary action on proposals related to the PARAS portal for the month of October Instructions to upload copies of directives on e‑Gazette The Chief Secretary said that reference copies of all statutes, rules and directives issued by the government should be uploaded on the e‑Gazette so that officials and concerned departments can easily refer to them in the future. While reviewing pension‑related matters department‑wise, he directed the department heads to ensure reporting of the number of pending cases in each department, the time taken for their resolution and progress. He also asked to link the APR with iGot and to prepare capacity‑building work plans for employees in each department Instructions to provide vacancy information by 30 September The Chief Secretary directed that vacancy information for various departments be made available to the Employee Selection Board by 30 September. The meeting also discussed the Lok Seva Guarantee Act, Reform Festival, preparations for the Gram Sabhas on 2 October and the progress of the Service Setu. It was reported that currently 907 services of 38 departments are available online through Service Setu. The Chief Secretary gave directions to take action for necessary amendments in the Fire Safety Act and to accelerate activities related to the “My Bharat” portal Integrated reporting of information through the Anti‑Narcotics Task Force In the meeting, Home Department Secretary Mrs. Neha Champawat said that information will be collected through the Anti‑Narcotics Task Force and then sent to the Government of India, ensuring integrated reporting of information received from various departments.
