Let us know that Chhattisgarh 10th Governor Ramen Deka was born on 1 March 1954 in Sualkchi, Kamrup (Assam), Assam. His father’s name is late Surendra Nath Deka and mother’s name is the late Champabati Deka. He is survived by Dharma wife Rani Deka Kakoti and two children. He obtained BA degree in philosophy and economics from Pragjyotish College, Guwahati University Assam.
Ramen Deka, who has been active in politics since 1977, is one of the founding members of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the year 1980. Ramen Deka has also been the state president of Assam BJP in the year 2006. He has been on the post of Vice President of the innovation and conversion Commission of Assam State from 2021 August till 29 July 2024. He was an MP twice. For the first time in the year 2009, he was elected MP from Mangaldoi seat in Assam for the 15th Lok Sabha.
