Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sahu takes health update of international folk artist Vikram Yadav

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sahu took information about the health of international folk artist Shri Vikram Yadav, discussed with relatives over telephone, and gave instructions to the district administration to ensure better treatment. Raipur, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sahu this morning discussed over telephone with the relatives of internationally acclaimed folk artist and renowned bamboo player Shri Vikram Yadav and took information about his health. The Chief Minister assured the relatives that the state government stands with full sensitivity for his proper treatment and necessary support and will not allow any deficiency in the treatment. Chief Minister Shri Sahu also discussed over telephone with the Rajnandgaon collector and took updated information on Shri Vikram Yadav's treatment. He directed that his treatment be ensured under the supervision of senior specialist doctors and that all necessary medical facilities be made available immediately as required. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sahu said that Shri Vikram Yadav is not only a cultural heritage of Chhattisgarh but of the whole country. Through his distinctive bamboo playing style he has brought the folk culture of Chhattisgarh and India's rich traditions to international platforms. The Chief Minister wished Shri Vikram Yadav a speedy recovery and said that the state government is continuously working for the respect, protection and welfare of folk artists. It is noteworthy that Shri Vikram Yadav, famous internationally for his unique bamboo playing style, is currently unwell and his treatment is ongoing at Rajnandgaon Medical College.
