Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai congratulated the mountaineer Amita Srivasa who conquered Mount Everest. The Chief Minister praised Amita Srivasa, who made history by hoisting the tricolor on the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest, and extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for this historic achievement. The meeting was attended by MLA Mrs. Gomti Sai. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that by her courage, indomitable will, discipline and unwavering determination, Amita Srivasa hoisted the Indian flag on the world’s highest summit, not only bringing glory to Chhattisgarh but to the entire country. Her achievement is a great source of pride and respect for the state. The Chief Minister added that despite limited resources and difficult circumstances, dedication and continuous effort can achieve goals that seem impossible. Amita Srivasa’s success is a strong example of inspiration for the state’s youth, especially daughters. It is noteworthy that the mountaineer Amita Srivasa from Janjgir-Champa district raised the tricolor on the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest, which stands at 8,848.86 metres above sea level on May 22, thereby enhancing the pride of Chhattisgarh and the nation.
