Chief Minister Shri Sai said that energy conservation is not just an economic necessity, but an important issue related to the secure future of coming generations and environmental protection. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that inspired by this spirit, the state government is taking concrete steps to reduce fuel consumption and use resources judiciously at the government level. Ministers and office bearers of various corporations and boards have also been urged to use vehicles and other government resources judiciously. The Chief Minister said that the state government will also work towards making the government transport system more environment-friendly. Under this, concrete action will be initiated towards converting all government vehicles to electric vehicles (EVs) in a phased manner.
