Raipur, February 14, 2026/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed deep sorrow over the untimely demise of brave jawans of the Cobra Battalion in a road accident in Dhamtari today. He said that the death of our brave jawans dedicated to the service of the nation is extremely heart-wrenching and this loss is irreparable.
Paying humble tribute to the deceased jawans, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the role of Cobra Battalion jawans has always been important in maintaining the internal security and peace of the country. The Chief Minister expressed his deep sympathy to the bereaved families and said that in this hour of grief, the state government stands with the affected families with full sensitivity and commitment.
Chief Minister Shri Sai prayed to God for peace for the departed souls and speedy recovery for the injured jawan. He said that the state government is committed to providing all necessary support. He has instructed the concerned officials to ensure proper treatment arrangements for the injured jawan.
