Chhattisgarh’s Industrial Policy 2024‑30 Targets AI and Semiconductor Sectors
Chhattisgarh is expanding its industrial vision beyond traditional mining and manufacturing. The 2024‑30 policy earmarks strategic investments in artificial intelligence, data centre infrastructure, electronics manufacturing, semiconductor fabrication, pharmaceuticals, textiles and renewable power. The state’s central location, robust power supply and improved logistics are being marketed as competitive advantages for high‑tech investors.
Chief Minister Sahu explained that these forward‑looking sectors are expected to create skilled jobs, stimulate ancillary industries and position the state as a technology hub in central India. Incentives, single‑window clearances and partnerships with research institutions are part of the roadmap to attract cutting‑edge projects.
