CM Vishnu Dev Sai's cabinet sets up advisory body for timely fertilizer distribution

Raipur, July 22, 2026 – During the cabinet meeting, a proposal to form a ministerial advisory sub‑committee on fertilizer availability was unanimously passed. The body will monitor the procurement, logistics and distribution of fertilizers, offering suggestions and guidance to the government. Membership includes the deputy chief minister, heads of public works, health engineering, urban development, sports and youth welfare, as well as cabinet ministers for agriculture, cooperatives and finance. The Agriculture Production Commissioner will coordinate the group's activities and may call upon departmental officers, technical specialists and external stakeholders to address supply bottlenecks and improve farmer access.
