Fee Structure and Choice Filling Timeline Announced for CG NEET UG 2026 Counselling

Chhattisgarh’s medical education authority has released the complete fee matrix and choice‑filling schedule for the 2026 NEET‑UG first‑round counselling. The application fee is set at ₹1,000 for Unreserved (UR) and OBC candidates, while SC/ST aspirants are required to pay ₹500. Non‑Resident Indian (NRI) applicants must remit a non‑refundable amount of ₹10,000.

In addition to the application fee, a security deposit—referred to as the registration amount—must be deposited as outlined in the official information brochure. This deposit is refundable only after the candidate fulfills all bond and service obligations.

The online application period spans from 9 August 2026, 11 a.m., to 16 August 2026, 11:59 p.m. Once the forms are submitted, candidates can engage in the choice‑filling and locking process, which remains open until 17 August 2026, 11:59 p.m. All steps, including seat allocation criteria and bond details, are accessible on the Medical Education Department’s website.
