Central Funding Sanctions ₹210.56 Cr for Chhattisgarh’s New Electronics Hub

Under the EMC 2.0 scheme, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has approved a central grant of ₹210.56 crore. This subsidy is part of a larger ₹432.08‑crore investment plan that will be financed jointly by the centre and the Chhattisgarh government.

The grant will support the development of ready‑built factories, utility networks, and advanced logistics facilities within the cluster. By leveraging this financial boost, the state expects to fast‑track the establishment of high‑value manufacturing units and create a skilled‑job pipeline for local youth.

State officials emphasized that the funding aligns with national programmes such as Make in India, Digital India and Atmanirbhar Bharat, reinforcing the strategic importance of expanding electronics manufacturing capacity in the region.
