Cabinet Secretary Discusses Reformative Measures with Chief Secretaries of States via Video Conferencing

Raipur / Union Government's Cabinet Secretary Dr. T.V. Somnathan today held a video conference with the Chief Secretaries of all states of the country to discuss reforms and reformative measures. Suggestions were invited from the states to make administrative and developmental works more effective.

In the video conference, Chief Secretary of Chhattisgarh, Shri Vikas Sheel, presented various important suggestions on behalf of the state. He shared his views on providing suggestions for reforms, simplifying administrative processes, and effective implementation of schemes. Chief Secretaries from other states of the country also presented important suggestions in line with their respective states' needs and priorities. During this, deliberations were held on accelerating reforms in states, making the administrative system more effective and people-oriented, and simplifying various processes.

Secretaries from various departments of the central government also participated in the video conference with Union Secretary Dr. T.V. Somnathan. Special emphasis was laid on strengthening coordination between the central and state governments and effectively implementing reformative measures. A 'Reform Festival' will be celebrated across the country from the upcoming October to December, during which suggestions will also be taken from the public through various mediums.
