Broad Opportunities in Trade and Industry in Chhattisgarh, Trade Will Grow Through Mutual Cooperation - Governor Shri Deka
Raipur, a delegation of the North Eastern Chamber of Commerce and Community, Delhi-NCR and the Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce met today with Governor Shri Raman Deka, led by coordinator Shri Sushil Agrawal. During the meeting, prospects for promoting trade and industrial activities between Chhattisgarh, the North Eastern states and Delhi-NCR were discussed. Governor Shri Raman Deka said that Chhattisgarh is a state rich in natural resources and has extensive opportunities in sectors such as forest produce, agriculture and farming, steel, tea and others. He added that the state government is providing necessary facilities and all possible cooperation to promote trade and industry. He also noted that there are ample opportunities for traders and industrialists from Chhattisgarh to expand trade and industry in the North Eastern states and Delhi-NCR. He discussed working with the chambers of commerce of both regions to enhance coordination, provide necessary support and guidance to traders and industrialists. The delegations shared their views on strengthening mutual trade relations and developing new trade and industry opportunities. Present at the event were the President of the North Eastern Chamber of Commerce and Community, New Delhi-NCR, Shri Ajay Khemmani, Shri Rajesh Sony, co-coordinator Shri Sarang Agrawal and the President of the Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce, Shri Satish Thorani, along with other officials.
