For the urban body elections, the BJP has announced 5 Nagar Panchayat President and Councilor candidates of the district including Gariaband Municipality President. The district in -charge of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the officials of the district released the list of candidates in a press conference today.

According to the list released by the BJP, Prashant Manikpuri has been fielded for the Gariaband Municipality President. At the same time, Mahesh Yadav in Rajim Nagar Panchayat, Uttam Rajvanshi in Fingeshwar Nagar Panchayat, Rupnarayan Sahu in Kopra Nagar Panchayat, Lukeshwari Nishad in Chura Nagar Panchayat and Anita Vikas Upadhyay in Devbhog Nagar Panchayat have been made the presidential candidates.
