Bilaspur airport hosts four Alliance Air aircraft undergoing maintenance
The incident involving the ATR is just one of several maintenance challenges currently faced by Alliance Air at Bilaspur. In addition to the crashed ATR, three other aircraft from the carrier have been placed in the hangar for routine and corrective maintenance.
The shortage of serviceable planes has forced the airline to suspend new routes, including a planned Hyderabad flight, despite having secured a slot at the destination. With an entire fleet under repair, the company is unable to commence the intended services, impacting passengers and regional connectivity.
Airline officials report that once the ongoing repairs are completed and the November inspection team signs off, they hope to restore normal operations and resume the pending Hyderabad service.
