Manoj Yadav, Korba. A major accident happened today on Deepka SECL Siding located in Korba district of Chhattisgarh. The number 3 was hit by a high speed truck going to the goods train going to the railway crossing. After this collision, the guard of the goods train derailed. The truck driver was seriously injured in the incident. At the same time, the railway track was also jammed after the accident, due to which coal transport is being affected.
As soon as the incident was reported, Korba Railway Management and Korba RPF reached the spot and started investigating the case. Apart from this, the RD team of the railway also reached the spot and is engaged in repair to bring the goods train back on track.
Let me tell you, the railway track of SECL was open and there was no security system, due to which this accident happened. Due to being an open gate, there is a danger of a major accident in future. This incident has raised questions on the security system of SECL Deepka management.
