Honouring Martyrs: Soil Collection and Tree Planting in Bastar’s Flag Journey

Special tribute ceremonies will be held at sites of major Naxal attacks. Flowers will be laid, a two‑minute silence observed, and families of the fallen will be recognised. In a unique initiative, soil from each martyr’s resting place will be carefully collected and preserved for a future museum dedicated to their sacrifice, ensuring that coming generations remember their heroism.

Alongside the memorial activities, a "One Tree for Each Martyr" drive will see saplings planted at every stop, linking remembrance with environmental stewardship. Youth, students and local talent will engage in dialogue sessions on drug‑free living and cyber safety.
