Balod’s health department has taken decisive steps after Rural Health Officer Yashwant Kumar Sahu allegedly used vulgar language with District Collector Divya Umesh Mishra during a supervisory meeting. The collector had called out the officer’s performance and urged him to follow official protocols.

The RHO’s alleged outburst was recorded by several attendees, prompting the department to label the incident as a serious violation of conduct. In response, Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. J.L. Uike ordered an immediate suspension.
