Artists and Scholars Collaborate on Digital and Print Resources on Local Traditions

A collective of about one hundred artists, writers, researchers and communication specialists has been assembled to craft the new learning material. The team will capture stories of revered saints such as Guru Ghasidas, folk leaders like Shabri Mata, and historic figures including Raja Chakradhar and Veer Narayan Singh. Their biographies, paintings and oral histories will be woven into textbooks and an online portal.

The portal will serve as a living archive, allowing educators, curriculum designers and families to explore Chhattisgarh’s heritage through interactive media, high‑resolution images and audio recordings of traditional songs.
