Arrangement of 3-seater stainless steel and RCC benches for passenger convenience at Raipur Rail Division stations

Raipur, With the aim of providing better and comfortable waiting facilities to passengers, South East Central Railway's Raipur Rail Division is rapidly installing modern 3-seater stainless steel and RCC benches on platforms and waiting halls of various railway stations. The installation of these benches will provide passengers with a safe, clean, and convenient seating arrangement while waiting for trains. Raipur Rail Division has provided sufficient seating benches keeping in mind the minimum necessary passenger facilities at its Amrit Bharat stations, installing a total of approximately 620 new 3-seater stainless steel benches and 478 RCC benches. Currently, the work of installing benches is continuously progressing at various stations, including those being developed under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. So far, 413 three-seater stainless steel benches and 368 RCC benches have been arranged at the following Amrit Bharat stations and under Major Redevelopment Station: - • Bhanupratappur Station – 28 benches • Bhilai Nagar Station – 90 benches • Sarona Station – 15 benches • Urkura Station – 53 benches • Bhilai Station – 45 benches • Dalli Rajhara Station – 25 benches • Nipania Station – 30 benches • Balod Station – 25 benches Keeping in view the increasing needs of passengers, Raipur Rail Division is continuously expanding passenger facilities available at Amrit Bharat stations. Additionally, the installation of these modern stainless steel benches at Raipur, the Major Redevelopment Station of Raipur Rail Division, with 70 benches, and Durg with 32 benches, will provide passengers with clean, durable, and comfortable seating facilities, making their travel experience more pleasant and convenient. Raipur Rail Division is continuously committed to providing safe, accessible, and quality rail services to passengers and will continue to prioritize various developmental works for the expansion and modernization of passenger facilities in the future.
