Anjor Light Scheme to Boost Vision-2047 Goals Without State Funding

The Anjor LIGHT project, approved by the Chhattisgarh cabinet, is designed to accelerate the state’s Vision‑2047 objectives. Funded entirely by a Rs 15 crore grant from the Asian Development Bank, the programme will not require any contribution from the state or central treasury. Running from December 2026 to November 2029, it will create a pipeline of priority‑based construction and development projects across ministries. The initiative will also support public sector enterprises with financial health assessments, debt sustainability analysis, and profitability improvement. By promoting green and blended finance, outcome‑based budgeting, and new PPP models, the project seeks to foster inclusive and sustainable development.
