The government has allocated Rs 500 crore to a state AI mission that will establish 100 AI laboratories, five centres of excellence and support more than 300 AI startups. In parallel, a Rs 1,000 crore AI Data‑Center Park is under construction in Naya Raipur. The mission also includes AI training for 6 lakh students and 1.5 lakh government staff, and the rollout of over 50 AI‑enabled public services. On the energy front, Chhattisgarh plans to add roughly 4,000 MW of solar capacity, with more than 90,000 homes already connected to solar power and the country’s first floating solar plant operational in Bilaspur.
