Academic session 2026-27 will start only from June 16, 2026

Raipur, June 13, 2026/As per the letter issued by the Director, Directorate of Public Instruction, Chhattisgarh on June 12, 2026, the academic session 2026-27 will be formally started from June 16, 2026 (Tuesday) in all government and non-government schools of the state. The information being circulated on various social media platforms that the academic session will start from July 01, 2026, is completely false, beyond misleading facts, and fake. The Directorate of Public Instruction has clarified that the official date for the commencement of schools is June 16, 2026. Therefore, students, parents, and the general public are appealed to believe only the official information released by the department and not to pay attention to unverified and misleading information circulated on social media.
