Raipur/ The state government, to make citizen services simple, accessible and transparent, operates Aadhaar service centers that are now bringing real change in the lives of people in rural and remote areas. The story of Mrs. Ayte, a resident of the village Toylanka in Dantewada district, is an inspiring example, whose years-old Aadhaar related problem being resolved has allowed her to again receive benefits of government schemes. Mrs. Ayte had been troubled for a long time because her Aadhaar card was not updated. Because her Aadhaar was inactive, she faced continuous difficulties in receiving pension, ration and other government services. Despite many attempts, the problem could not be solved and she became frustrated. Meanwhile she learned that an Aadhaar service center was being operated in the district collectorate premises, where Aadhaar related problems are solved quickly. As soon as she got the information, she went to the service center and told her problem to the officials and staff. Investigation revealed that because her e-KYC had not been done for a long time, her Aadhaar had become inactive. The service center staff verified the necessary documents, completed her e-KYC process and reactivated her Aadhaar. The entire process was completed in a simple, transparent and time-bound manner. After Aadhaar was reactivated, Mrs. Ayte now has a clear path to receive pension, ration and various social security and welfare schemes. She expressed gratitude to the district administration and the Aadhaar service center staff, saying that this facility solved her long-standing problem and gave new hope in her life. The state government's intention is that every citizen receives the benefits of government schemes and services without unnecessary hassle. Through Aadhaar service centers, services such as e-KYC, biometric update, mobile number update and Aadhaar activation are being provided in various districts of the state, making it easier for citizens to access government schemes and strengthening their trust in digital services.
