Investment Boost Expected Over ₹8 Lakh Crore After New Industrial Policy

The chief minister highlighted that the 2024‑30 Industrial Development Policy, the One‑Click Single Window 2.0 and the Ease of Doing Business Act have simplified more than 450 procedures. Since the policy’s introduction, investment proposals exceeding Rs 8 lakh crore have been received. While traditional sectors such as steel, cement and minerals remain strong, the state is courting businesses in semiconductors, electronics, data‑centres, pharmaceuticals, textiles, logistics, green energy and food processing.
