Raipur, February 05, 2026/ The state government has taken an important decision towards making registry and registration services easily accessible, convenient, and time-bound for the common citizens of the state. Administrative approval has been granted to open four new Sub-Registrar offices in Bhakhara (Dhamtari district), Lavan (Tehsil headquarters, Balodabazar-Bhatapara district), Sakri, and Rajkishore Nagar (Bilaspur) under the provisions of the Registration Act–1908.
According to the information received, administrative approval has been granted to open a new Sub-Registrar office in Bhakhara, Dhamtari district. Similarly, administrative approval has been granted to open Sub-Registrar offices in Lavan, the Tehsil headquarters under the District Registrar Balodabazar-Bhatapara, and in Rajkishore Nagar and Sakri of Bilaspur district.
With the opening of these new Sub-Registrar offices, citizens of the concerned areas will not have to travel to distant district headquarters for registry work. This will save time and money, reduce crowds, and make the registration process more convenient and transparent. It will also boost local economic activities and is likely to speed up administrative work.
Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai said that the state government’s objective is to make government services available to the common citizens at their nearest level. The approval of new Sub-Registrar offices will provide great relief to people in registration-related tasks. This decision is another strong step towards good governance, which will save citizens’ time and increase transparency in administrative processes.
Finance and Commercial Tax Registration Minister Mr. O.P. Chaudhary said that our government is giving top priority to the expansion of citizen facilities. The approval of four new Sub-Registrar offices is a result of this thinking. The opening of new Sub-Registrar offices will strengthen the registration system and provide quality services to people in their own areas, making the process simple, transparent, and quick. He informed that the Registration Department has implemented 10 new revolutionary reforms, which will also benefit the citizens of these areas. These include auto deed generation, Aadhaar-based biometric verification, doorstep registry, automatic mutation, online encumbrance certificates, integrated cashless payment, WhatsApp-based services, Digilocker integration, Digi-Doc service, and online search and registry download facility through khasra number.
This decision of the state government is being considered an important step taken in public interest, which will make the registration system more decentralized and effective.
