Chennai Regional Conference Highlights Role of Youth in Election Transparency

During the conference, CEC Gyanesh Kumar stressed that connecting young people to the democratic process and reinforcing their confidence in the electoral system are long‑term investments in the health of India’s democracy. He explained that every stage of the election – from roll‑call to counting – is conducted with full transparency, under simultaneous monitoring and audit by political parties, candidates and their agents, as mandated by the Constitution and the Commission’s directives.
