CEO Hunt Intensifies: Former IPS Officer Rajesh Pandey Among Final Candidates

The search for the first Chief Executive Officer of the Ayodhya Ram Temple Trust has entered its decisive phase. After a rigorous screening of more than 5,500 applicants, three senior officials have emerged as the leading contenders.

Former IPS officer Rajesh Pandey, retired IAS officer Yogeshwar Ram Mishra, and senior Bihar Police officer Paresh Saksena are now the focus of the trust’s board. Their diverse backgrounds in law enforcement, administration, and public service are seen as assets for steering the temple’s complex operations.

The trust, which recently added Mahesh Bhagchandaka, Madan Mohan Pandey, and Nirmala Yadav to its board, is also addressing lingering concerns over the handling of temple offerings. The recent controversy, which led to arrests and a senior resignation, has heightened the urgency of appointing a capable CEO.

Chairman Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, along with treasurer Swami Govind Dev Giri, will convene a final meeting to vote on the CEO. The decision is expected to be announced shortly, marking a pivotal moment in the temple’s administrative evolution.
