Central Silk Board Recruitment Drive: 14 Grade‑3 Roles Open Until 7 October

The Central Silk Board, operating from its central office in Bangalore, has released a notification for fourteen Young Professional – Grade‑3 vacancies across its various institutes and units. Applications are accepted online from 8 September, with the closing date set for 7 October.

Candidates must either be a Chartered Accountant with a minimum of three years of experience in a government accounting capacity, or hold an MBA/M.Com degree complemented by at least five years of service in the public sector. The role demands familiarity with government accounting standards, the Tally Prime software suite, public procurement mechanisms, and the preparation and verification of TA/DA, medical, pension, and internal audit bills, ensuring full legal compliance.

The age ceiling is 35 years, calculated as of 1 July 2026, with the standard concessions for candidates from reserved categories. The selected professionals will receive a salary of ₹70,000 per month on a two‑year contract, which may be prolonged based on performance assessments.

A screening committee will first evaluate applications according to CSB guidelines, after which a selection committee will approve the final list and also generate a waiting list that stays valid for one year. Applicants should retrieve the application form from the CSB portal, fill in all required details, attach the necessary documents, merge them into a single PDF file, and email it to the official address before the stipulated deadline.
