Central Disaster Control Center Activated for Monsoon Power Management

Adani Electricity has put its Central Disaster Control Centre (CDCC) into full operation as monsoon clouds gather over Mumbai. The CDCC serves as the nerve centre for real‑time monitoring of water levels, power line health and weather forecasts, enabling swift coordination between the utility’s seven Quick‑Response Teams (QRTs) and external emergency agencies.

Equipped with satellite links, wireless radios, walkie‑talkies and remote sensing devices, the centre ensures uninterrupted communication across all departments. The advanced system feeds data from 98 newly installed water‑level sensors linked to an Enhanced Distribution Management System, allowing the utility to predict flood‑related outages and act proactively.

According to Adani Electricity, this integrated approach shortens outage duration, improves restoration speed and keeps customers safe throughout the rainy months.
