CBI seizes documents, digital data in raid on Jupiter Bio Sciences

During the coordinated raids on Messrs Jupiter Bio Sciences Limited, the CBI recovered extensive documentary and electronic evidence tied to a suspected ₹47.37 crore loss incurred by UCO Bank. Search teams swept through offices and private residences in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Telangana and Tamil Nadu, focusing on properties linked to the firm’s directors.

Among the items seized were fabricated proforma invoices, inflated valuation reports of pledged securities, and internal communications that suggest collusion with unidentified government officials and private actors. Digital forensics teams also captured hard drives, mobile devices and email archives that are being examined for transaction trails.

These materials are expected to shed light on how the alleged fraud was orchestrated, the channels through which money was moved, and the roles played by each conspirator. The CBI has indicated that further forensic analysis will continue as part of the ongoing investigation.
