Calls for Nationwide Inquiry into Jhaver University After Terror Allegations
Ayodhya, July 28 – After BJP leader Sangeet Som publicly branded Jhaver University as a "terrorist base," two senior Sant leaders urged the Uttar Pradesh government to launch a full‑scale investigation. Jagadguru Paramhansa Acharya of Mahant Tapasvi Chavani said that the university's operations are being financed by international extremist networks and that the alleged anti‑national agenda includes love‑jihadi propaganda and systematic attacks on Hindu culture. Mahant Sitaram Das warned that the campus is being used to spread anti‑state sentiment and to fund radicalisation. Both saints appealed to the courts and the police to ensure that any individuals or groups benefitting from the alleged funding be prosecuted and that the university be examined for any links to extremist activity.
