BSF uncover extensive Naxal arsenal during Narayanpur search
A coordinated search by Border Security Force (BSF) units in Narayanpur district on July 18 resulted in the discovery of a sizeable cache of insurgent equipment. The items include a .303 rifle, six .315 rifles, a 12‑gauge shotgun, two BGL launchers, ammunition ranging from 12‑gauge cartridges to 7.62 mm rounds, and a five‑round .303 magazine. Additional recovered assets cover radio frequency detectors, antennae, RFID operating mechanisms, handheld torches, rifle slings, a Naxal‑style uniform, generator manuals, and a wealth of Naxal literature. Medical supplies such as DNS bottles, disposable syringes, dressing pads, and analgesic ointments were also seized. The bomb disposal team de‑activated 44 BGL shells on site, ensuring safety for the surrounding community.
