BRICS India Innovates Exhibition Highlights Youth-Led Technology

The Union Education Minister Prahlad Joshi visited the BRICS India Innovates exposition on Friday, September 11, in New Delhi. The exhibition, staged before the 18th BRICS summit, presents a curated selection of 37 deep‑tech startups and ventures from India, each chosen after a rigorous screening of participants from the earlier India Innovates event in Nice.

Minister Joshi engaged in dialogue with the innovators, reviewing their advanced technical solutions and applauding their role in strengthening India's research capabilities. He noted that nurturing youth‑driven innovation is vital for the nation’s future competitiveness.

Co‑organized by the Education Ministry and the Ministry of External Affairs, the showcase aims to connect Indian deep‑tech enterprises with global investors, industry leaders, and policy makers from the BRICS community. It serves as a conduit for technology transfer, funding, and collaborative projects.

The exhibition coincides with the BRICS Business Forum, offering Indian entrepreneurs direct access to senior business representatives and venture capitalists from the member nations, thereby opening pathways for strategic partnerships and market expansion.

Linking the event with the BRICS education agenda, the Ministry reinforces its commitment to building a strong research, innovation, and startup ecosystem across the bloc.
