Boy, 13, Dies in Greater Noida Society Fall; Police Investigate

Police in Greater Noida are investigating the death of a 13-year-old boy who fell from the 12th floor of a residential building in the Design Arch Society, falling under the Surajpur police station jurisdiction. The incident occurred on Saturday, and the circumstances surrounding the fall are still being determined.

The boy has been identified as Ranvijay Dhaka. He lived in the same society. Police received information on October 24 that he had fallen from the building. Family members took him to a hospital shortly after, where doctors pronounced him dead.

Footage from CCTV cameras has been reported in connection with the case. It shows the child going up to the 12th floor, but it has not yet been established how he came to fall from there.

The probe is focused on determining whether the death was accidental or linked to another cause. Officers are reviewing all available facts and evidence before arriving at any finding, and no conclusion has been drawn so far.

Following the incident, the Surajpur police station began the required legal process and sent the body for postmortem. The postmortem report is expected to assist the inquiry. Police said that further legal action is being taken in the matter.

The family is mourning the loss, and key questions about the incident remain open as the investigation continues.
