Former Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai has accused Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi of accepting financial assistance from billionaire George Soros to destabilize India’s democratic system. The BJP MP contended that this capital is being leveraged to fracture the nation’s unity and compromise its political stability.

In a recent media statement, Bommai described Gandhi as a resentful political figure who consistently attributes his setbacks to external factors. He alleged that the Congress leader harbors ties with overseas bodies that run counter to India’s national goals. Bommai further charged Gandhi with repeatedly making anti-national pronouncements and attacking the country’s democratic institutions.

The senior BJP leader suggested that the financial link between Gandhi and Soros is widely recognized, with millions reportedly transferred to fund Gandhi’s agitations and outreach programs. Bommai argued that these movements are orchestrated solely to gratify foreign patrons who bankroll the opposition’s activities.

He reiterated that the Indian National Congress is allegedly navigating international coffers to sabotage India’s democratic ethos and territorial integrity. Bommai condemned such efforts as deeply regrettable and dangerous for the republic.

Conversely, Bommai held Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the highest regard, crediting the PM with a lifetime of selfless national service. He argued that launching groundless allegations against a dedicated leader is an affront to every patriotic Indian. Drawing a parallel to the sun’s undeniable radiance, Bommai highlighted the PM’s unmatched commitment to the country. He firmly dismissed all false claims against the Prime Minister as baseless and lacking any substantive merit.
