Bobby’s Four‑Year Preparation Culminates in Spectacular ‘Ayodhya Ke Ram’ Show

Subhash Malik, known in the theatre world as Bobby, has devoted the last four years to crafting a full‑scale dramatization of the Ramayana named ‘Ayodhya Ke Ram’. The ambitious project will debut on 19 October in New Delhi, offering a three‑hour immersion into the epic’s moral and spiritual lessons.

Bobby, the founder and chairperson of the Ayodhya Ramleela committee, leveraged his deep connection with the holy city to infuse authenticity into the production. He describes the show as a tribute to Lord Rama and the divine energy he witnessed during his time in Ayodhya, stating that the city’s sanctity and the blessings of its sages guided every creative decision.

The cast features Ravi Kishan as Rama, supported by Arun Bakshi (Ravana), Avtar Gill (Lakshmana) and Raza Murad (Kumbhakarna). Additional Bollywood artists are slated to make special appearances, adding star power to the devotional narrative.

The performance will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Constitution Club’s Mavlanakar Hall. Bobby envisions touring the production across Indian states and eventually taking it overseas, with the goal of sharing the timeless story of Rama and Indian cultural values with a global audience.
