Blessing Lamps Lit for Prime Minister Modi's 76th Birthday at Uttar Pradesh Inspiration Centre

Lucknow, 17 September – In a ceremony marking Narendra Modi’s 76th birth anniversary, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath lit a series of blessing lamps at the state’s Inspiration Centre. The event, part of the wider Service Commitment campaign, saw diyas placed on statues of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Dr. Shyam Prasad Mukherjee and former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

The CM addressed the students gathered at the site, recorded a brief video on his mobile device and handed out chocolates as tokens of appreciation. He offered heartfelt birthday wishes to the prime minister, praying for his continued vigor and long life, and extended good wishes for the Vishwa Karma Puja observed by residents.

Yogi highlighted that the nation, guided by Prime Minister Modi, is advancing toward the goal of a self‑reliant and progressive India. He pointed out that millions of lamps are being illuminated nationwide on this day, from iconic public locations to the homes of beneficiaries of various social welfare programs.

He praised the dedication of volunteers, scheme beneficiaries and ordinary citizens taking part in the movement. Drawing a parallel between PM Modi and the divine craftsman Vishwa Karma, the chief minister said the past twelve years have forged a new Indian identity driven by modern infrastructure and technology, with Uttar Pradesh’s 250 million population fully backing the development agenda.
