From 'Blessing Lamp' to 'Service Bridge', Activities Charted for 2026 Campaign

The Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026, a flagship national drive celebrating 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s emphasis on public service, will be launched in Churachandpur on September 17 with the "Aashirvad Ka Diya" ceremony. The ceremony will illuminate lamps at select Amrit Sarovar locations, housing colonies, and community health centres. Between September 18‑30, the "India of Dreams (Art Service)" initiative will host painting, essay and speech competitions across schools and colleges on the theme "My Vision of a Developed Manipur". The "Aangan Ka Utsav" will involve Anganwadi centre tours, nutrition‑awareness activities and honoring of front‑line workers. The campaign will also feature a "Kahani Badlav Ki" segment that documents success stories of government schemes through short films, photos, and articles. Additional operations include cleanliness drives, tree‑planting, voluntary blood‑donation camps, beneficiary registration and verification, and assistance with documentation for various welfare programmes.
