In a significant move to prioritize the well-being of its foot soldiers, the Madhya Pradesh BJP is rolling out a comprehensive medical support program for party workers. Dubbed ‘Seva Prakalp,’ the initiative kicks off tomorrow, April 14, from the state headquarters in Bhopal.

Speaking exclusively, Dr. Vishal Singh Baghel, convener of the party’s medical wing, highlighted how this aligns with PM Modi’s inclusive development mantra. ‘Healthy cadres form the bedrock of a robust organization,’ he emphasized, detailing provisions for instant medical aid to those in need.

The setup includes a specialized consultation room where expert physicians provide on-the-spot advice and scheme linkages. From Ayushman Bharat enrollment to troubleshooting government health programs, every aspect is covered. Urgent cases will trigger blood banks and service squads, while economic relief taps into CM funds and donations.

Priority goes to critical illnesses – think cancer, cardiac issues, kidney failures – ensuring time-sensitive resolutions. Applicants need only basic documents: doctor’s note, cost estimates, income details, and ID. The transparent system promises verification, hospital confirmations, and swift fund forwarding.

Walk-in assistance centers will make it hassle-free, with digital outreach planned via apps, social platforms, and local networks down to the booth level. The launch event, attended by CM Mohan Yadav and VD Sharma – wait, state chief Hemant Khandelwal – promises to be a morale booster.

Beyond immediate relief, this scheme cements BJP’s reputation as a worker-centric party, potentially setting a template for nationwide adoption amid growing demands for cadre welfare in politics.
