Amid reports of Iran’s top leader Ayatollah Khamenei being killed in US-Israel attacks, the Middle East simmers with uncertainty. In this volatile scenario, BJP’s Shahnawaz Hussain reassured that India is prioritizing the safe return of its nationals from affected regions.
In an IANS interview, Hussain outlined the diplomatic efforts underway. ‘The government is worried about every Indian in these war-torn areas. Embassies are actively coordinating,’ he stated. Reinforcing India’s pacifist stance, he added, ‘We are Buddha’s land, not a battlefield. Peace is our eternal pursuit, especially with millions of Indians in the Gulf relying on stability.’
Shifting focus to internal discord, Hussain lambasted Rahul Gandhi’s recent outburst against a party worker. ‘It’s unprecedented for a leader to threaten his own team publicly, promising to ‘sort them out’ with Kharge. Congress has hit rock bottom,’ he said.
The BJP leader didn’t spare Youth Congress for their disruptive antics at the AI Summit. ‘Naked protests in front of international delegates? This treasonous act reeks of a larger plot that must be investigated.’
Targeting AAP’s Arvind Kejriwal, Hussain mocked his defenses in corruption cases. ‘All the drama won’t help. Courts allow appeals, and Kejriwal’s administration is riddled with scams beyond liquor policy. His self-proclaimed honesty is laughable.’
Hussain concluded on an optimistic tone, wishing Bihar CM Nitish Kumar a happy birthday and hoping for the state’s accelerated progress under his governance.
