BJP Says Rahul Gandhi Shifts Narrative from Delhi to Ranchi Without Addressing Student Concerns

BJP chief Hemant Khandelwal accused Rahul Gandhi of moving the political focus from Delhi’s student unrest to Ranchi’s exam protests without offering substantive solutions. In Delhi, Gandhi raised concerns about examination stress and criticised police crackdowns on peaceful crowds. In contrast, Khandelwal said the Congress leader stayed silent as Jharkhand police employed lathi charges against students protesting alleged recruitment irregularities.

Khandelwal emphasized that the Ranchi demonstrations were about fairness in the JPSC and JSSC exams, which affect thousands of job aspirants. He insisted that the government’s response should be transparent and that Gandhi’s selective commentary serves a partisan agenda rather than the students’ welfare.

The BJP also indicated that Home Minister Amit Shah is prepared to answer Parliament’s queries on the Ranchi incident, urging Gandhi to present the issue directly in the House.
