BJP Ramps Up West Uttar Pradesh Campaign Ahead of 2027 Assembly Polls

The Bharatiya Janata Party intensified its organisational push in western Uttar Pradesh on September 22, with national president Nitin Naveen spearheading meetings in Saharanpur and Meerut. He outlined a comprehensive roadmap for the 2027 state elections, promising a third straight, decisive majority for the party.

Naveen scrutinised the status of party units across each assembly segment, stressing booth‑level mobilisation and the dissemination of central welfare schemes. He called on volunteers to make house‑to‑house visits, ensuring that every eligible resident is linked to the "double‑engine" development agenda.

He lauded the 24‑hour work ethic of BJP activists, dismissing the notion of part‑time politics. "Our cadres live to serve the people," he said, adding that their vigor gives him confidence in achieving "Mission 2027."

The leader contrasted Uttar Pradesh’s past notoriety for mafia dominance with its present identity as a centre for semiconductor manufacturing, AI research, infrastructure projects and missile technology, citing the Brahmos as a hallmark of the new era. He affirmed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a developed India by 2047 and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s focus on cultural preservation are being realised through BJP governance.

The events featured traditional shankh sounds, flower showers and a devotional visit to the Sant Ravidas temple, where Naveen prayed for the welfare of the state and nation. He urged party officials to continue simplifying communication, conducting "pocket meetings" at the grassroots, and connecting citizen concerns directly with government schemes.
