BJP Ramps Up Ground Effort in Datia with Sindhia’s Visit and Rathyatra

In a bid to solidify its foothold in the Datia by‑election, the Bharatiya Janata Party has coordinated a series of ground‑level activities that will culminate with Union Minister Jyotiraditya Sindhia’s arrival on July 24. The minister’s schedule includes a morning departure from New Delhi at 09:20, landing at Gwalior airport at 10:50, and a subsequent road trip to Datia.

At 13:00, Sindhia will visit the revered Mata Pitambara Peeth to offer prayers to Mata Baglamukhi, a gesture that blends cultural reverence with political outreach. The minister will then join a large rally in Badooni at 14:15, where he will address the crowd and call for a decisive vote for BJP’s Ashutosh Tiwari.

Earlier this week, the party’s state chief authorised multiple campaign carts to traverse the district, spreading messages about the government's welfare schemes and development initiatives. Party officials have emphasized that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, India is carving a new global identity, while Madhya Pradesh, led by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, is forging a new development trajectory.
