BJP’s Lucknow Organizational Session Sets Tone for 2027 State Election
Lucknow saw a significant BJP organisational session on July 4, with the purpose of preparing for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. Chaired by national president Nitin Naveen, the meeting featured Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, state president Pankaj Chaudhary, both deputy chief ministers, an array of ministers, parliamentarians, legislators and senior party cadres.
Discussions focused on bolstering the party’s structural framework and harnessing the administration’s achievements to win voter confidence. Participants voiced a collective ambition to achieve a mandate larger than any prior victory in the state. Following the meeting, Jitin Prasad pledged that the BJP would triumph with “a sweeping majority,” powered by its strategic plan, governance record and the trust of the electorate.
State minister Suresh Khanna described the event as “highly positive,” noting a surge in volunteer enthusiasm after guidance from the national president, chief minister and deputy chief ministers. He asserted that the BJP has set a goal beyond the 2017 benchmark and warned the Samajwadi Party that it will now face a “burst” rather than a simple “puncture”.
MLA Pankaj Singh observed that Nitin Naveen shared his extensive organisational knowledge with legislators and MPs, urging them to coordinate better and maintain a visible presence among the people. The gathering marked Naveen’s first dedicated tour of the state’s party network, a factor that reportedly boosted morale among ground‑level workers.
Minister Kapil Dev Agrawal praised the session, reiterating the party’s mantra “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”. He highlighted the development programmes rolled out under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi, stating that the BJP’s principal competition now lies in its own performance and that it aims to form the government for a third time with a larger vote share and more seats.
