BJP MP Links UCC Implementation to NDA Presence, Cites Uttarakhand and Assam

Manan Mishra reiterated that wherever the NDA holds power, the Uniform Civil Code will be implemented. He cited Uttarakhand and Assam as prior instances where the code is being rolled out, and now West Bengal joins the list. According to Mishra, the UCC ensures citizens’ right to equality, protects cultural values, and prevents multiple marriages or arbitrary divorces under differing personal laws.
