Party leaders gather in Haldwani as BJP ramps up Uttarakhand campaign

In a coordinated push for the 2027 Uttarakhand assembly elections, BJP chief Nitin Nirav arrived in Haldwani on Thursday, joining a series of high‑profile meetings. The day began with a vibrant youth dialogue where the party president fielded questions from local students and young professionals about job creation, infrastructure upgrades and social welfare.

Later, at the Watika Banquet Hall, he addressed a veterans conference, underscoring the party’s dedication to soldier welfare and national security. A subsequent appearance at a Sikh pride conference in Rudrapur allowed Nirav to reach out to minority communities, reiterating promises of inclusive development.

Simultaneously, the party’s state executive committee convened a massive session attended by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, state president Mahendra Bhatt and 597 representatives from across the state. The meeting focused on synchronizing grassroots outreach, rally scheduling and resource allocation to achieve a historic three‑term win for the BJP in Uttarakhand.
